In October 2025, the International Student Forum on Future Democracy will take place in Eisenach for the third time.
From 13th to 19th October, we invite students to join us in Eisenach to discuss the history, current status and future of democracies in Europe and globally. This year’s thematic focus will be electoral integrity and how it is connected to democracy. The week-long forum includes thematic workshops with experts, open working sessions, and free time to get to know one another as well as the city and its surroundings. Finally, the participants will jointly draft a declaration in which the findings of the workshops will be translated into a vision for the future of democracy.

Im Oktober 2025 findet das Internationale Studierendenforum zur Zukunft der Demokratie zum dritten Mal in Eisenach statt.
Vom 13. bis 19. Oktober laden wir Studierende nach Eisenach ein, um über die Geschichte, die aktuelle Verfasstheit und die Zukunft der Demokratien in Europa und der Welt zu diskutieren. Das Schwerpunktthema ist in diesem Jahr Wahlgerechtigkeit. Das einwöchige Forum beinhaltet thematische Workshops mit Expert:innen, offene Arbeitssitzungen und freie Zeit zum gegenseitigen Kennenlernen sowie zum Kennenlernen der Stadt und ihrer Umgebung. Abschließend verfassen die Teilnehmer:innen gemeinsam eine Deklaration, in welcher die Erkenntnisse der Workshops in eine Vision über die Zukunft der Demokratie überführt werden.
