Every year in October, 20 international students gather in Eisenach to spend a week discussing the future of democracies in Germany, Europe, and globally. The focus is on exchanging concrete experiences with political systems as well as developing a shared democratic vision.
About the Student Forum
The Student Forum has been part of the annual Wartburg Festival in Eisenach since 2023, organized by the GEDG.
Student Network on Future Democracy (SNFD)
The Student Network on Future Democracy (SNFD) emerged from the Student Forum and is annually composed of new participants from the forum.
Wartburg-Declarations
Every year, the students jointly write a declaration in which they outline their visions, analyses, and action strategies for the future of democracy.
